Frequently asked questions

- What raw materials can be used to make biochar?

Just about any form of biomass can be used to produce biochar.  AnthroTerra follows the guidelines published by the IBI in only using biomass that has no higher value in other applications.  We utilise local waste streams as the source of our biomass.

Examples include Green waste, Manure, Paper mill sludge, Saw mill waste, Crop by products (rice hulls, bagasse, nut shells etc)
